Chapter IX: Design

Form Follows Function

Every development at Audio Physic follows one central principle: maximum sound quality. The design remains functionally minimalist and elegant – never intrusive, yet always stylish.

This design philosophy is built on a clear idea: loudspeakers should integrate harmoniously into a wide variety of living spaces. Only when a loudspeaker can be placed optimally in the room does the entire system unfold its full potential. And the better a loudspeaker blends into a living environment, the higher the acceptance for positioning it in its ideal location.

Audio Physic’s design approach unites functionality with aesthetics. Technical innovations feed directly into visual form – such as the characteristic 7-degree tilt found in many models, which not only enables loss-free phase compensation but also lends the loudspeaker a dynamic appearance. Or the integrated subwoofer chamber, which ensures ideal room coupling of low frequencies while maintaining a calm, unobtrusive visual presence.

The ingenuity continues inside the speaker: from the centering-spiderless midrange driver, which dramatically improves dynamics and minimizes distortion, to the use of highly porous ceramic foam components capable of fulfilling a wide range of acoustic functions.

At Audio Physic, every element serves a clear purpose – nothing is superfluous. This principle not only delivers technical superiority, but also results in design in its purest sense: form follows function.

In addition, Audio Physic offers customers a high degree of customization without ever losing sight of the brand’s defining values. This innovative and consistently surprising approach is the signature of Manfred Diestertich – the creative mind behind many of the sonic masterpieces to emerge from Audio Physic.
