From the beginning, the aim of all vintage Audio Physic products was to reproduce music without any loss of fine detail. 20 years after the foundation of our internationally renowned company that is based in Brilon in the heart of Germany, we can pride ourselves in our engineering and built quality.
We truly achieved our goal, however we are prepared to go the extra mile and we are highly motivated to reveal even more subtle nuances of musical performance.
In fact, audiophiles who are seriously involved in the quest for very complex dynamics of perfect sound reproduction will eventually have to admit: Every effort is in vain without the provision of a reliable sound source on which further development can be based.
We are more than happy to join forces with Turtle Records from Holland, a company that provides the right material and therefore assists us in our continuing quest for perfection. For the production of CDs and SACDs of Turtle Records, the same strict standards are applied that we maintain at Audio Physic.
With that pure and highly demanding source of music we are able to extend the limits of all our products far beyond our expectations. Therefore, Audio Physic together with Turtle Records is proud to open a new chapter of sound by way of a hat trick: The first „three dimensional“ SACD compilation.
It has three times the fun and three times the benefit of conventional silver discs produced for listening tests. It is provided with two layers, one for CD and one for SACD which contain more or less the same pieces of music and are produced in PCM style, DSD and DSD multi-channel surround plus some special samples which are exclusively recorded in surround. Given that rich variety of sound formats which are delivered in the highest possible quality, audiophiles are not only able to precisely evaluate amplifiers and speakers, they are also able to compare the magnificent abilities of todays multi-standard disc players under uniform and equal conditions.
In addition, it is so convenient: you do not need to change discs to check stereo against surround, CD versus SACD et cetera. On the following pages of the booklet, the producers of Turtle Records personally explain to you the specific acoustic demands of every single track and they will tell you how you can reveal the nuances and intimate details of your sound reproduction chain.
